Tapered Round Log basket in Green and Steamed Willow
A good sized log basket made from green and steamed willow. Green willow is willow just as it comes from the field after harvesting. Steaming is the process of boiling green willow for a couple of hours; it changes the colour from green to dark brown.
The two look great in combination – strong, rustic, attractive.
